LANSING, MI (WILX) - While the Jeopardy Teacher's Tournament was fun, fans of the popular game show were excited to see Jeopardy "super champ" James Holzhauer return to the airwaves Monday night, after a two-week break.
And he's playing like he never left the stage.
Holzhauer's historic run on Jeopardy extended to 23 straight games on Monday.
He also added another $89,000 to his winnings.
Holzhauer has now racked up nearly $1.8 million.
That's second only to Ken Jennings, who won more than $2.5 million during his 74 game streak in 2004.
Jennings says he's rooting for Holzhauer to break his record.
You can watch him try to continue the streak tonight on WILX at 7:30 p.m.
