JACKSON COUNTY, MI (WILX) -- A grand opening and ribbon cutting was held for the Jackson Community Foundation on their new location.
The event was held in celebration of their new location at 100 S Jackson Street Suite 206 B.
"We are excited to share our new location with the community. This location allows us to have our own in-house meeting space and maintain a presence in downtown Jackson. It was important for us to be easily accessible for grant and scholarship seekers," said Monica Moser, President and CEO of Jackson Community Foundation.
The Jackson Community Foundation is a philanthropic organization for the community helping provide leadership, improvements and solutions for the community, according to the foundation's website.
The foundation celebrated their new location with sundaes for attendees and a ribbon cutting.
The event took place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
