LANSING, MI (WILX) -- An Ingham County woman is $800,839 richer after playing the Michigan Lottery's Jumbo Jackpot Slots game.
The woman, who chose to remain anonymous, bought the winning ticket at the Quality Dairy at 3332 East Lake Lansing Road in East Lansing, according to the lottery.
"I stopped and purchased my Fast Cash ticket on the way to work and checked it over once I got back to my car," said the 38-year-old winner. "When I saw I won the jackpot, I was in complete shock. I went to work and continued on with my regular day because I just couldn't believe it."
Fast Cash games are a series of instant-win games that print from terminals at Lottery retailers. Fast Cash tickets range in price from $1 per play up to $20 per play.
"I'm so excited, but I'm still in shock," the player said. "I think it's going to take a while for it to sink in that I actually won this huge amount of money."
According to the lottery, Fast Cash prizes never sell out and there is no waiting for a drawing as all games are played immediately. In 2018, players won more than $51.5 million playing Fast Cash games.
Fast Cash games may be purchased at 10,500 retailers across the state, the lottery said.
