Increase of colorectal cancer in younger patients

Doctors are seeing an increase of colorectal cancer in younger patients.
That's according to a new study from the University of Texas.
It shows the proportion of patients diagnosed with colorectal cancer, who are under 50, has risen steadily over the last decade.
Younger adults are also being diagnosed with a more advanced disease.
Many organizations now recommend screening at age 45, but most doctors are not following these guidelines.
The study was led by researchers at University of Texas and published in 'CANCER'
