Hurricane Matthew hitting Haiti
Haiti is beginning to feel the fury of Hurricane Matthew, a Category 4 storm with sustained winds of 145 mph.
The storm's outer bands have already caused street flooding and forced evacuations.
Its center is expected to pass near or over the southwestern tip of the impoverished nation on Tuesday morning.
Matthew will generate life-threatening winds, storm surge and as much as 40 inches of rain in some areas.
It's packing top sustained winds of 145 mph. In the U.S., forecasters say it's too early to say how the East Coast could be impacted.
