Seniors at Haslett High School are trying to "Rock The Vote" on Wednesday.

They are offering voter registration to eligible students.

The "Rock The Vote" campaign runs from 10:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the high school at 5450 Marsh Road.

"It is vital for young people to participate in our democracy and ensure that their voices are heard," said Meridian Township Clerk, Brett Dreyfus. "Registering to vote is the first step in making that happen! We are pleased to partner with the League of Women Voters to help get Haslett seniors registered to vote."

All students who turn 18 by November 6, 2018 will have the opportunity to register and vote in this fall's election.
