Grand Ledge makes it look easy in Diamond Classic Championship Game
Grand Ledge High School made it look easy on Tuesday night at the Diamond Classic Baseball Tournament.
The Comets once again took the trophy back to Grand Ledge as they mercied Mason High School by a score of 11 to one in six innings.
Michigan State University's McLane Stadium was the site for Tuesday night's fifty-eighth edition of the tournament championship game.
For Grand Ledge, this is their twenty-eighth Diamond Classic title.
That is the most by any mid-Michigan school.
The team was also the defending champion going into this year's tournament.
Grand Ledge senior Braedon Stoakes was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player.
