Governor Rick Snyder has formed a team to deal with what he calls "unacceptable operations" at the state's Child Protective Services.

The Governor appointed Orlene Hawks to lead the review and improvement process of CPS. The team was formed after a scathing audit released last week revealed multiple failures inside the agency.

Michigan's Child Protective Services agency has 60 days to submit a plan to correct failures highlighted in that audit.
