DETROIT, Mich. (WILX) General Motors is getting into the bike business. The new Ariv is an e-bike with an electric motor that GM says can be charged in 3 1/2 hours.
The Ariv also has a "walk mode" where the motor can help roll the bike. It also has a built-in USB port and mobile phone mount.
GM says the Ariv will be available in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands first. It will cost between $2,500 to $3,000, plus taxes and shipping.
As of now, it's unclear if the bikes will be offered for sale in the U.S.
