Frito-Lay recalls barbecue chips for milk allergen

LANSING, MI (WILX) If you’re allergic to milk, you may want to double check your chips before you pack them for lunch.

Frito-Lay is recalling their Lay’s Lightly Salted Barbecue Flavored Potato Chips because they may have undeclared milk allergen.

The recalled bags have “Guaranteed Fresh,” and 27 AUG 2019 on them.

The bags also have UPC code “28400 63242” as well.

In a statement, the company says if you have a,“severe sensitivity to milk,” you may potentially have a fatal reaction to eating the chips.

There have been no reports of illness related to this product at this time.
