WASHINGTON, D.C. (WILX) - Former FBI director James Comey will testify before the house judiciary committee Friday to talk about the FBI's investigations into Russian meddling in the 2016 election and Hillary Clinton's e-mails.
It wil be a closed door session.
Earlier this week, Comey tweeted he would be able to publicly discuss the hearing afterward and a transcript would be released within 24 hours.
He was requested by Republican lawmakers to sit down for a private deposition.
Comey had sued to block the private summons last week, instead hoping for a public hearing ,
