Enbridge showed off the vessel from the United Kingdom on Wednesday, July 10.

The ship will be used to collect rock and soil samples in preparation for building the tunnel to house Line 5.

The drilling should start next month and end around October.

A 2020 presidential candidate is calling out Michigan's the oil pipeline.

Washington Governor Jay Inslee says the pipeline should be de-commissioned and a proposed oil tunnel should not be built.

He's the only candidate focusing his campaign mostly on the environment.

Attorney General Dana Nessel has asked the Michigan Court of Claims to order the nearly 70-year-old pipeline to be shut down and de-commissioned claiming it violates environmental laws.

Enbridge is asking the same court to rule on its tunnel agreement with the state.
