Tuesday, Nov. 5 was Election Day across the nation, and although it was an off-year election, there were several races around mid-Michigan.

Polls in the state of Michigan opened at 7 a.m. and closed at 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

Back in August, Dobies garnered just over 1,000 votes and Alexander came in second with 568 votes.
