E. Lansing mayor pays up for friendly wager over Final Four

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - "The stars at night, are big and bright...deep in the heart of East Lansing?"

You may remember that the mayors of East Lansing and Lubbock, Texas had a little bet over the NCAA Final Four.

We have proof that East Lansing, the losing city in the bet, has kept up their end of the bargain.

Spartan fans, this may be hard to see but Mayor Mark Meadows kept his word and the Texas Tech University flag was flying outside of East Lansing City Hall.

The beat was about MSU losing to Texas Tech in their Final Four match up.

The flag came down on Friday, if will be signed by Mayor Meadows with a congratulatory message, and then mailed back to the Lubbock Mayor, Dan Pope.
