Dog hurt in Lansing house fire

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Investigators in Lansing are trying to determine the cause of a house fire that left a dog injured.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday night in the 500 block of Norman Street, southeast of Fabulous Acres.

Firefighters told News 10 that the fire started on the second floor of the home and that no one was home at the time.

However, a pet dog at the house was taken to a local vet to be checked out. Another dog escaped the house.
