Dog food recalled over salmonella, listeria concerns

LANSING, MI (WILX) -- More dog food is being recalled over salmonella concerns.

The FDA is warning pet owners to stay away from Performance Dog's frozen raw pet food, produced on or after July 22 of this year.

Samples of the food tested positive for salmonella and listeria.

The FDA said the food is a serious threat to both animal and human health.

If you have this dog food in your house, you need to to clean the area where it was stored thoroughly.
