A new study finds doctors are increasingly prescribing medications for children that are not FDA approved for their age, weight or condition.
Researchers from Rutgers University say the practice, which is legal, increased from 42% in 2006 to 47% in 2015.
The most commonly prescribed off-label drugs were GI medications, antihistamines, antibiotics, and antidepressants.
