Flint native and "AGT" host Terry Crews sent the choir straight to the live shows earlier this summer by making the group his Golden Buzzer pick.

The choir of eight to 18-year-old kids will now perform with nine other acts on Tuesday, Sept. 17 on WILX at 8 p.m., in hopes of winning America's vote.

If the group wins, they will be the first choir to ever win the competition.

Voting will open at 8 p.m., running through 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18. You can find out how to vote for the Detroit Youth Choir here.

The "America's Got Talent" winner will be announced during the finale on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 8 p.m.
