Dansville voter-approved bond pays for new high school

DANSVILLE, Mich. (WILX) -- It's out with the old and in with the new for the Dansville School District.

Tuesday was opening day for their brand new high school building.

School Superintendent Amy Hodgson says this new building was needed to bring the district into the 21st century.

Dansville High School's new high-tech learning environment was made possible by a 20-16 voter approved $26.5 million bond.

After 18 months of construction, the building still isn't quite complete, some of the elective class spaces still need finishing touches but that didn't stop the Aggies from starting their first day of classes.
