Adobe Analytics reports yesterday is likely to end up being the biggest U.S. online shopping day ever. The research arm of software maker Adobe says nearly $6.6. billion in sales were generated. That represents a 17-percent increase over a year ago.
Smartphones and tablets accounted for about half of all visits and a third of sales. Total online holiday sales are expected to top $100 billion for the first time this year.
