Consumers Energy will be briefly cutting power to more than 4,000 customers in the Holt and Mason areas on Labor Day. The outage is expected to start around 9a.m. and last for roughly 10 minutes. Crews will be using that time to work on the Harper Road Substation.
Consumers Energy says the outage will affect 4,170 customers in the area bordered by I-96 to the north, Gunnell Road to the west, Bunker Road to the south and Edgar Road to the east. News 10 and wilx.com will provide updates of the time of the planned outage changes or if it will last longer than expected.
