LANSING, Mich. (WILX)- In Exactly one month from today, Mid-Michigan's first Chick-fil-A will open and the first 100 adults inside the restaurant will receive free food for a year.
Chick-Fil-A confirmed Monday a grand opening date of October 13th, had been set for the restaurant located in Delta Township. It will open at 6 a.m. that morning just in time to serve up its popular chicken biscuits for breakfast.
There is a lot of hype over the area's first Chick-Fil-A. People from around the state say they are making plans to make the trip to Lansing to visit the new restaurant. The free meals for a year will consist of a Chick-fil-A Chicken sandwich, medium waffle potato fries and a medium beverage. To qualify for the free meal deal, customers have to live in the community, within a 30-mile radius of the restaurant. A second Chick-Fil-A in Troy will open at 10 a.m., four hours after the location in Delta Township.
