Chevy owners can pay for gas from inside their cars

If you drive a Chevy, refueling your car is about to get a little easier.

The automaker is launching an "in dash" payment system that lets you pay from gas inside your car via infotainment systems.

Chevy has teamed up with Shell to offer the service in its 2017 or later model cars.

To use it, you use the Shell widget to pick a location, then you can select a pump and start fueling.

The service is currently being tested in Detroit, Seattle and Houston. It's expected to roll out nationwide by the end of the year.
