INGHAM COUNTY, MI. (WILX) -- All lanes are back open after a three car accident that closed I-96 west near the exit between Williamston and Okemos on Tuesday.

Authorities said that a car flipped over on its side on westbound 96 near exit 117 on Tuesday afternoon.

Officials were on the scene while all lanes were closed on I-96 west near the exit, and two cars were in the ditch on eastbound 96.

Police began directing traffic to turnaround using east 96 which caused a back up and slow moving traffic on that side of the highway.

No report as of now on any injuries.
