LANSING, MI (WILX) -- From comic books to cosplay contests.
From games to panels.
There was a little bit of everything at Saturday's fifth annual Capital City Comic Con.
Nearly 200 vendors filled the Breslin Center during the event which celebrated all things deemed "nerdy."
Thousands of all ages joined in on the fun that featured favorite pop culture characters and memorabilia.
"You love a comic book movie, there's so much more to those characters than what you see on the the big screen," Bryan Harris, co-owner of Capital City Comic Con said. "You can just get lost in one character of any movie and it's a world that is truly something that everyone should experience."
This year's comic con even featured Jim Shooter, an editor in chief for marvel comics.
