MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WILX) - A bus driver in Milwaukee, Wisconsin rescued a toddler wandering alone and barefoot alongside a road.
Driver Irena Ivic spotted the little girl while driving on a highway overpass.
She then stopped the bus and got out, stopping traffic so she could pick up the toddler.
She then brought the child back onto the bus and called for help.
As they waited, a passenger came up and wrapped a coat around the youngster to keep her warm.
Ivic says she wouldn't hesitate to do it again.
Officials believe the child ran off after her mother had a mental health incident.
That child is now reunited with her father.
