LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - More than 200 million eggs are under recall over fears of salmonella contamination.
According to the FDA, the eggs all come from rose acre farms in Indiana and at least 22 people have gotten sick because of the eggs.
These eggs were sold in Colorado, Florida, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Salmonella can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections, especially in young children, the elderly, and those with weak immune systems.
The FDA is telling anyone who purchased these eggs should throw them away or return them to the retailer where they were purchased for a refund.
