Bomb threat closes all Ionia Public Schools on Tuesday

All Ionia Public Schools will be closed Tuesday due to a bomb threat.

According to a post on the Ionia High School's Facebook page, administrators were notified Sunday that a bomb threat was made against Ionia High School for Tuesday morning.

The threat was received Sunday by the Michigan State Police.

The high school will remain on lockdown until the Michigan State Police complete a search of the building Tuesday morning.

Due to this lockdown, all of Ionia Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday.
