VERMONTVILLE, Mich. (WILX) The boil water advisory for Vermontville has been lifted.
The Village of Vermontville had issued a boil-water advisory because of a water main break on a Monday. The break lead to a loss of pressure that could have allowed bacterial contamination in the water supply.
The village said the advisory was issued as a precaution.
No signs of coliform bacteria were detected in the water.
The water was tested and treated and is now safe to drink.
