NBC, (WILX) - As of now, Patriots wide receiver and former CMU football player Antonio Brown will be eligible to play Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.

He has not been placed on the commissioner's exempt list after being accused of sexual assault in a civil lawsuit filed in Florida.

We heard from Brown for the first time Thursday night since joining the Patriots.

He posted a live video on Instagram from Tom Brady's training center.

"The devil gonna try to bring you down when you get closer to your goals. The key is, don't let them. You know, I was thinking about it, all the basketball players in the world, all the soccer players in the world, they get loved and embraced. Maybe we need a football USA team so the world can love us because all we get is hate," said Brown.

Coach Bill Belichick was asked if Brown will play Sunday.

He said Brown has only had two practices with the team and that there is a lot for him to learn about their offense.

Belichick went on to say, "We will do what's best for the team."
