(WILX) -- There is some good news for your wallet.
Flight prices in the U.S. are hitting new lows according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics.
The average fare for domestic air travel hit $343 last year.
The lowest since the government started keeping track in 1995.
The numbers don't include fees added for things like checking a bag or getting a better seat.
Airlines are getting a larger share of their revenue from those fees and from deals with credit-card providers, helping them remain profitable.
