BLACKMAN TWP., Mich. (WILX) -- This story has been updated to include new information on the number of guns stolen
The ATF now says 14 guns in total were stolen by three people from the Action Discount second-hand store early Monday morning.
Thirteen of the stolen guns were handguns but one is a very specific semi-automatic that the ATF hopes someone will spot and report.
"One of the firearms involved is an M4 Semi-Automatic Assault Rifle. It looks very similar to a military-type of firearm. It's very specific, and if anyone sees somebody out of the ordinary or a family member that never had one of these types of guns and all of a sudden came across one, that would be something that they may want to let law enforcement know," said James Deir, ATF special agent in charge.
A $5,000 reward is being offered for information on a burglary at a second-hand store in Jackson County.
The break-in happened at around 2:15 a.m. Monday at Action Discount on Shirley Drive in Blackman Township.
Investigators believe the trio went back to the store Wednesday but weren't able to get in.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is offering a $2,500 reward for information on the case. The National Shooting Sports Foundation is matching that amount.
