A victory for medical marijuana shops not yet fully licensed

LANSING, MI (WILX) - Medical marijuana shops, that do not have a full state license yet, have won another postponement from a judge.

Court of Claims Judge Stephen Borrello says the state can not shut down shops that do not get a license until 60 days after a final decision from regulators.

He says the state's handling of applications under a 2016 law has been slow.

Licensing deadlines have been extended numerous times before, due to court action or other reasons.
