People with melanoma may benefit from a high-fiber diet.
That's according to a new study from M.D. Anderson Cancer Denter in Texas.
Researchers tracked a group of melanoma patients being treated with immunotherapy drugs.
Patients who ate lots of whole grains, vegetables and other high fiber foods had better gut health, and were five times more likely to respond to the drugs than those with low-fiber diets.
