KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WILX) -- A Missouri man was forced to part ways with his 7-foot-long pet alligator of four years on Thursday.
He was taken from a home in Kansas City, Missouri.
The alligator was found after a sheriff's deputy spotted him while serving an eviction notice.
The gator, Katfish, was hanging out in a pool inside the house when officials came to take him away.
The gator was living off of a steady diet of chicken nuggets, steak, deer, fish and rats.
Owning an alligator is against the law.
