CLARENDON TWP., Mich. (WILX) - A 23-year-old man was flown to a hospital after a crash early Saturday morning.
According to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched just after 2 a.m. to T Dr. South near 20 mile Rd. in Clarendon Township.
They say the driver was traveling west on T Dr. South when he ran off the roadway and hit a tree.
The driver from Tekonsha was extricated from the vehicle by the Tekonsha Fire Department.
Because of the extent of injuries, he was flown to Bronson Hospital by AirCare.
The crash is still under investigation, but deputies believe alcohol and failure to wear a seat belt are contributing factors.
