One in ten of us may develop eczema at some point in our lives. The itchy skin condition is widely thought of as a pediatric problem, but new research found it appears to come and go throughout a lifetime. Eczema is also known as atopic dermatitis. The risk for developing it varies across age groups with young children being at the highest risk. That risk declines through the years and rises again when a person hits their late fifties.
