New research suggests exposure to artificial light at night may increase the risk of obesity in women.
The study included 44,000 healthy women who were not shift workers, or daytime sleepers.
The data showed women who slept with a light or TV on in their room were more likely to become overweight or obese.
The study was led by researchers at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences and published in 'JAMA Internal Medicine'
