Fun for all at the Ingham Co. fair

INGHAM COUNTY, MI (WILX) -- The Ingham County Fair week is coming to an end.

Monday marked the first day of the 165th Ingham County Fair located at the fairgrounds in Mason.

Saturday, Aug 3 is multicultural day at the fair. The Grand Stand entertainment will be Michigan Tractor Pull 10 a.m. Antique Tractor & Trucks Pull- Show. There is free admission for day show.

Saturday night will be the the Michigan Truck Pull beginning at 7 p.m.

Wristband on Saturday will be $25.

Gate admissions for the fair are:
Adults: $6.00
Senior Citizens (62 years of age and older): $5
Children (3-12 years of age): $5
Children (Under 3 years of age): free

Ticket sales for the shows will begin at 5:30 p.m. each night under the Grandstands. Grandstand general admission will be $5 per person. Grandstand reserved admission will be $10 per person.

If you are headed to the fair this week, you can text "FAIR19" to 888777 to sign up for the emergency messaging system for the fair. The alert system will be used for lost children, alerts, weather advisories and anything else related to public safety.

After fair week, the alert system will be discontinued so you will not get any sort of messaging for the fairgrounds afterwards.
