This position supports and coordinates apprenticeships and work-based learning programs (e.g., internships, co-ops, job shadows, etc.) for the Technical Careers Division, establishes
professional relationships, and maintains communication with industry to promote and develop opportunities for students and overall partnerships with LCC. Specifically, these opportunities and partnerships allow students to apply knowledge and skills gained through education while serving industry needs. This position provides continuous support of students before, during, and after their apprenticeship or other work-based learning experience to help ensure success and overcome industry skill-gaps.
Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s degree with two (2) or more years of relevant experience with work-based learning or training programs in education or industry
Prior experience establishing business partnerships
Prior experience organizing events, promoting opportunities, and giving public presentations

COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH
Salary: $46,840 - $54,489 annually
Under the direction of Adult Mental Health Services (AMHS) Supervisor, coordinates the services of an Interdisciplinary Team of mental health professionals in AMHS/Bridges Crisis Unit which provides a wide range of direct and indirect mental health services with chronic mental illness, substance abuse disorders, and adjustment disorders in a short term crisis residential program. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: clinical and administrative supervision of staff, some direct services to consumers, consultation and participation in program planning. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies and procedures.
40 hours per week that may include some evening and weekend hours.
Location: Adult Mental Health Services/Bridges Crisis Unit, Lansing, Michigan
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related field from an accredited college or University required. Possession of an appropriate State of Michigan credential required. A minimum of three years of work experience with individuals with mental illness is required. At least one-year work experience in a lead position or progressively more responsible position is required. Demonstrated leadership and good judgment skills required. Ability to communicate accurately and effectively both in writing and verbally is required. Participation in a management 24-hour on-call system required, which may also include holidays and weekends (approximately one week/weekend per month).
