Rachel Sweet comes to ABC 12 after spending two years at WILX News 10 in Lansing.
She is a Filipino American, a native to Michigan.
Rachel received a Bachelor’s degree from Lawrence Technological University in Media Communication, while minoring in Technical and Professional Communication.
While in school, Rachel landed internships at CBS Radio, Road Commission for Oakland County, and WDIV Local 4 in Detroit. After graduation, Rachel’s internship at Local 4 turned into an official position where she found her passion in storytelling.
When she’s not working, you can find Rachel with her family or singing and playing guitar.
Rachel is excited to join the ABC 12 team and to explore more of the Mid-Michigan area.
