Christiana grew up in Detroit, Michigan and graduated from Kent State University where she studied journalism and political science. During her time as a student she worked as a reporter for TV2 in Portage County, interned at WDIV as an Emma Bowen Fellow, WKYC in Cleveland, MSNBC in New York and Fox News in Washington D.C. Christiana has had a passion for journalism since she was 5 years old bugging strangers in restaurants and on planes. She is a proud member of the National Association of Black Journalists and even went with the group to their first international reporting trip in China. In China Christiana met with government officials, business leaders, and media professionals. Christiana also has a passion for politics and public policy.
