LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - During Friday afternoon and evening, we will see rain and storms move into the area as a warm front slides into Mid-Michigan. This rain will continue in the evening and should wrap up early Saturday morning. Some locally heavy rainfall is possible with this as temperatures today warm up into the 50s.

The good news: As advertised all week, we will have a summer-like weekend around here. High temperatures will get into the upper 70s and lower 80s on Saturday with some sunshine and breezy winds. For context, the last time we saw highs in the 80s in Lansing was back in October!
