Meridian Township Lifts Burn Ban

Meridian Township -- With the recent change in weather, as of noon Monday, July 23rd, Meridian Township has lifted the ban on open burning. "The Fire Department would like to remind residents to remain cautious with permitted fires," stated Mark Hornberger, Meridian Township Fire Inspector. "Residents should also keep in mind; the next fireworks use period is the Labor Day holiday."
