The Storm Prediction Center has lower Michigan in the Slight Risk category for severe weather today through tomorrow. Partly sunny skies are expected today with the chance of a few strong to severe thunderstorms between 3 P.M. and 9 P.M. Temperatures today top out in the mid 80s. With an area of low pressure heading through the Great Lakes more showers and thunderstorms are expected tomorrow and Wednesday. Rain showers could hold on into Thursday. Cooler air returns for the end of the week.
