Driven by volunteer donations of backpacks and school supplies, Operation Backpack is a back-to-school effort Co-Chaired by Congressman Mike Rogers and Lupe Izzo, benefiting the needy children served by all programs of St. Vincent Catholic Charities. STVCC is collaborating with Andy Provenzano, WILX-TV Channel 10 and Two Men And A Truck in effort to successfully reach our goal of 1,000 donated backpacks stuffed full of school supplies. Operation Backpack runs now through the end of August, culminating with a back-to-school rally hosted by Congressman Mike Rogers and Lupe Izzo, accompanied by a WILX personality serving as the MC.

The drive runs now through the end of August.
