Holiday Bonanza How to Enter: The Holiday Bonanza Contest will begin November 20, 2006 and conclude November 24, 2006 You may enter the sweepstakes in any of the following ways: 1) WATCH AND WIN News 10 at 6 pm. Watch for the “call-in” graphic and be the 10th caller at 517-394-9302 2) Come to the WILX TV television station located at: 500 American Road Lansing, MI 48911 and fill out a contest entry blank during business hours 9am until 5pm November 20th through November 24th (limit one (1) entry per person at this location); Contest sponsors are not responsible for late, lost, stolen or misdirected contest entry blanks or illegible entries. Sponsor is not responsible for technical or computer failures, errors or data loss of any kind or failed, incomplete, garbled or deleted computer or network transmissions, inability to access any Web site or on-line service, or any other error or malfunction. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. If the judges determine that there is any suspected or actual tampering with the Contest or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Contest, the judges reserve the right to void the entries at issue and/or terminate the Contest and conduct a random drawing to award the prize among all eligible entries received as of the termination date. If the Contest is terminated due to tampering or technical difficulties prior to its expiration date, notice will be posted at www.wilx.com. If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant that tampers with the operation of the Contest or website or violates the Official Rules of the Contest. Sponsor is not responsible for telephone failures, busy signals, hang-ups, errors or data loss of any kind, lost or unavailable connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or deleted transmissions or other problems associated with phone lines or phone numbers for this contest that are beyond the control of Contest Sponsors, which may limit the ability to play or participate in the contest. All contest lines will be cleared before “call-in” graphic airs. Broadcasts are subject to preemptions and scheduling changes. If, for any reason the “call-in” graphic is unable to air due to program preemptions, technical difficulties or any other cause beyond the Sponsors control, two (2) “call-in” graphics will air the following evening and notification will be posted on the WILX-TV website (www.wilx.com). Contest sponsors reserve the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, which will become effective upon announcement. Eligibility Restrictions: The contest is open to Michigan residents who are 21 years of age or older. Employees of WILX, Gray TV, Meijer vendors or suppliers contracted to conduct business with Meijer, other television and radio stations in the Lansing market, and their affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising agencies and their immediate family members are ineligible to participate or win. Viewers are eligible to win a WILX contest only once every sixty days. Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest. Viewers are eligible to win a prize valued at $600.00 or more only once every six months. Prizes: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will win the Grand Prize consisting of One (1) $500 gift card from Meijers (FIRST PRIZE WINNERS:) All first-prize winners must complete and return to WILX the affidavit of eligibility and present drivers license for verification. All prizes or prize certificates must be picked up at the office of WILX, 500 American Road, Lansing, MI 48911. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within 30 days of winning. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its arrival. WILX-TV is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate. Prizes cannot be transferred, substituted, or redeemed for cash except at WILX TV and Meijer’s sole discretion. WILX TV and Meijer’s reserve the right to substitute any prize, or portions thereof, with a prize of comparable or greater value. Selection of Winners: One (1) caller per night will be chosen as a first-prize winner weekdays November 20th through November 24th during News 10 at 6 pm to win the gift certificates. Decisions of contest sponsors and judges with respect to the contest are final. Conditions: All costs, taxes, expenses and fees associated with any element of a prize not specifically addressed above are the sole responsibility of the winner. All federal, state and local taxes on prize are winner’s responsibility. Winner will be issued a 1099 tax form by Meijer’s for the actual retail value of the prize, if over $600.00. Winners acceptance of their prizes, agree to release WILX TV, Gray Television, Meijer’s, their parents and subsidiaries, and their respective advertising, promotion and production agencies from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to any prize-related activity. All entries become the sole property of Station and will not be returned. By entering into the sweepstake, all grand prize and first-prize winners consent to the use of their name, photograph, likeness, biography, voice and/or video for advertising and promotional purposes, including online announcements, worldwide and without limitation and without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Odds of winning depend on number of entries. Obtaining Official Rules and Winner’s List: To obtain a copy of the official rules, please write to: Holiday Bonanza WILX TV, 500 American Rd, Lansing, MI 48911. WILX TV reserves the right to revise these rules, which will become effective upon announcement. Beginning on or around December 1st you may obtain the name of the prize winners, by mailing a self-addressed stamped envelope to: WILX TV 500 American Road, Lansing, MI 48911 Requests received after December 14th will not be honored. No purchase necessary. The contest is void where prohibited by law. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification.

Religion allows them to break laws. Now, the taxpayers get to pay thier medical bills. Please follow up on this story!!!
