Police Ask for Clues to Missing Jackson Girl's Disappearance

Jackson police are asking for any clues to the disappearance of 19-year-old Kaley Brooks. The Jackson teen has been missing since Saturday.

Her boyfriend, Nicholas Jackson, was found dead in his car in Leoni Township on Sunday, He had used a shotgun to take his own life.

Police say Brooks and Jackson were last seen together at the McDonald's restaurant on Prospect Street in Jackson at around 3pm Saturday.

Her blood was found in the rear seat of the same 2007 Black Ford Fusion Jackson was driving.

Police are now searching the Waterloo Recreation area and are expanding their search to additional areas.

According to police reports, Jackson was arrested in October for aggravated assault against Kaley, causing extensive injuries.

He was due to be sentenced to jail on Monday, and was under court order to stay away from Kaley.

Anyone with information about Brooks, Jackson or have seen the Ford Fusion, is asked to call the Blackman-Leoni Township Public Safety department at (517) 788-4223 or the township's Detective Bureau at (517) 990-9700, ext. 2.
