Perry Family to Take Therapy Chicken Fight to City Council

A Perry family is taking a fight over 'therapy chickens' to the city council, tonight.

Five-year-old Katelyn Anderson, who suffers from cerebral palsy, uses a local farmer's chickens as a means of therapy. The farmer is planning to move and the Anderson family was supposed to have the birds stay with them.

The farmer, Steven Godbehere, says the city has given him trouble with his chickens and forced him to move. Katelyn's mother Laura Anderson will be attending the Perry City Council meeting, at 7 p.m., to ask the council for permission to keep the chickens.
