Jackson National Life Insurance will be opening a development center in downtown East Lansing.
The city council approved a tax credit worth nearly $70,000 per year for 12 years.

It will host a mix of full and part time employees, many of them MSU students getting real world experience.
A Jackson National spokesman told us the partnership with MSU could expand if this goes well.
